We are a group of nuanced therapist thinkers who struggle with the ideological capture of our field and the powerful and all-encompassing negative impact it has had on therapists and our clients.

From bias in education to on-the-ground clinical approaches, we see this infiltration as a shift from resilience-based frameworks to the oppressor/oppressed narrative, as well as other problematic issues.

We first came together after the 2024 election, when tensions in the therapy world were high. We met for a few weeks, and found ourselves in a group of like-minded, curious and concerned therapists. We then started meeting again after the assassination of Charlie Kirk in 2025, as tensions began to rise again.

We have been meeting monthly since.

We discuss topics such as Supreme Court rulings, issues in therapy like AI, the practice of practice, and the complex ethical considerations in this modern world of therapy. We also do some deep-dive case consultation and most importantly, just laugh together at the absurdity and beauty of it all.
